Atlantic Marine Corps Communities Finalizes Plans for Warrior Workout Trail and Boundless Playground®

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities is is proud to announce its plans for a new Warrior Workout Trail and Boundless Playground at Watkins Village in Camp Lejeune, NC.

The Warrior Workout Trail will be the first of its kind in the state of North Carolina. The trail will create an outdoor fitness facility that allows warriors and others a place to workout without physical limitations. The new work-out trail will be conveniently located near the Boundless Playground® and feature many different stations for a variety of work-outs.

Tri-Command Communities Celebrates The End of Development

Tri-Command Communities (TCC), a community of Atlantic Marine Corps Communities, is proud to announce that the four-year Initial Development Period of renovations and new home construction is complete in Beaufort, SC. This milestone is being marked by the dedication of a TCC community park in honor of the End of the Initial Development Period (IDP), on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Laurel Bay at the Birch Street Playground.

Stewart Terrace Community Center Opens for AMCC Residents in New York

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities is announcing the opening of the first ever brand new Community Center for AMCC residents, located in the neighborhood of Stewart Terrace in Orange County, NY. The Grand Opening Ceremony is being held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 and will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, tour of the new facility, resident activities and hors d’ oeuvres.

AMCC Hosts Employee Health and Safety Fair

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities (AMCC), the public/private venture partnership between the Department of the Navy and Actus Lend Lease, is proud to announce a new Safety and Health Program for more than 200 employees of the partnership project. The day long Employee Safety and Health Fair is a brand new annual initiative, designed to educate staff on their health as well as provide training on safety issues for employees and Residents.
